Flower Power

I received some photography inspiration from one of my online pals “sunnycrest” and decided to take some flower pictures. I had no idea they could be so fun! :-)

All dressed up!

I had so much fun with this gal. We drove all over the place to get these colors and poor gal got some looks marching around downtown in her gorgeous dresses, but I’m hoping she’ll think it was worth it! Thanks again Kristyn!

The lovely Ashley

I had a wonderful time photographing this gal! She was a total trooper…I still can’t believe she jumped into the Columbia River wearing only a sundress despite our freezing cold Washington weather! Thank you Ashley and I hope you enjoy your photos!

"La La" at the beach.

Just a few my lovely daughter “la la”. My nephew couldn’t say her name and so Olivia got shortened to “la la” and it’s stuck. :-) I never could come up with a nickname I liked for “Olivia” anyway, and “la la” just seems to fit her perfect.

Look who’s 4!!!

Time to bring in the family snapshots!!!
My baby turned 4 today! I will never forget those first few moments when it ‘hit’ me that life would never be the same again…I am a “mom!” That was one of the most scary and amazing feelings in the world. wow! The last four years have gone by so fast, and knowing that makes me all the more determined to cherish each moment I have with him. Childhood is not forever and I need to stop and remind myself about that now and then!

So here he is! My little guy is 4!

He liked the cake!!!

Birthday CRAZINESS!

“This”  now roams my house.

Apparently sticking your tongue out makes it easier to climb!

Some Fresh Attitude!

This past year I had the pleasure of taking dance classes from Sharnessa of Fresh Attitude Dance Studio. I tried my hand at dance photography, which for me is a totally new experience, I’m more of a portrait/photojournalist type gal. I have to say I have a new found respect for those sports photographers out there! Getting the “shot” is a lot harder than it looks!
Here’s a few of my favorite shots.
