In search of the Great Pumpkin!

It’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to post about me and my family!  You guys (meaning my awesome clients) have kept me pretty booked up for the past little bit! Thank you!  But I do miss sharing my personal side with you all, so I thought I would pull some of my more recent family snapshots out and share!  Enjoy!  :-)

Every year my family makes the treck out the the Pumpkin Farm in Willow Grove.  It seems like every year we go, it pours down rain! So we added another tradition – a shopping trip for rubber boots and umbrellas before heading out to the farm.    It’s always a big muddy mess, with animals everywhere, and pumpkins galore.  But it’s SO much fun!  My kiddos love the petting zoo out there, the hayride is great, the selection of pumpkins is amazing and the owners of this adorable farm of some of the nicest people around!

We had a blast picking out our pumpkins, and checking out the animals, but my favorite part is going back to my in-laws and having our little family harvest party.  Roasted pumpkin seeds, homemade cookies and my mother in-laws amazing homemade apple cider are what keeps us company while carve our pumpkins into some of the ugliest jack o’ lantern’s you ever saw!

My husband – Bryce, and my nephew – Declan.  Aren’t they just cute!

Thanksgiving dinner never looked better!

In search of the perfect pumpkin!

Still searching………

Issac (my other nephew) and Olivia had so much fun in the mud puddles!

If my family were pumpkins, this is what we would look like!  :)

….and this is why no one in the Lemmons family should ever consider a career in professional pumpkin carving!

This family was so much fun to photograph.  The two girls had fun exploring the island and goofing off for the camera.    The oldest had girl had me cracking up with some of her antics, she got her younger sister and I both laughing and laughing photos are just the cutest! Thank you Lisa and John for having me as your photographer, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and the rest of your photos will be posted for you soon!

Trainstations, graveyards and waterfalls! – Longview Washington Senior Photographer

Shannon is going to be graduating from Cornerstone Acadamy this coming year and I had SOOOO much fun on this gals senior session!  She had some great ideas for location’s – we seriously drove EVERYWHERE! We had a blast goofing off in the graveyard (as disrespectful as that may be!) and hiking into the waterfall… though my backup camera almost had an early retirement when I fell down the path on the hike in, but fortunately he survived!

Thanks for having me as your photographer Shannon and I hope you enjoy your preview!!!!

Jared’s Senior Photo’s – Kelso Washington Senior Photographer

Jared will be graduating from Kelso High School with the class of ’09.  It was fun getting to know him at his session – he is a piccolo player for the Kelso High School marching band.  Being that I never attended public high school (I’m a homeschool graduate) I had no idea what a piccolo was!  Jared explained it to me (it’s a smaller version of a flute…just in case someone didn’t know!)  and we even did some photos in his tuxedo that he wears for all his band performances.

Jared – I hope you enjoy your preview and Congrats!

Senior Photos – Country Style! – Kelso Washington Senior Photographer

This session is especially cool for me since this is my little sister!  She’s going to be graduating class of ’09, and it’s seriously making me feel old!  :)    I can remember going to see my new little sis in the hospital when she was born – my brother telling my mom “she should have been a boy!” All the times my brother and dared her to do stuff (“eat the pinecone and we’ll give you a million dollars!”) and she did them!   All the crazy fun times, fights, family vacations, and friendships -  life goes by so fast, and I seriously can’t believe the little girl who ate the pinecone is now all grown up!

So here she is -  Charisma Joy Brennan, 18 years old and a soon to be homeschool graduate!  Congratulations!!!!!!
