I got to photograph this adorable family the week before Christmas – Christmas crazyness meant that I had to take a break from the old blog which is why I’m just now posting this.  They were such a cute little family!   Their little guy had me smiling – he has the most adorable little personality and I just fell in love with him!  Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!

I made the drive out to the “C” family home last weekend for some outdoor family photos.  They were an adorable family and their home was picture perfect – nestled in the woods with lots of beautiful trees and animals all around.   Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!

A couple of good friends of mine,  Joe and Andrea,  renewed their  wedding vows a few weeks back.  It was an intimate, beautiful and very emotional day for everyone in attendance.  I was honored to photograph it with my good friend Nate, and my wonderful husband Bryce.   I’m excited to see what the future holds for this precious family.  :-)

I can’t believe this precious little gal is already one!  We had her one year “cake smash” session at my studio awhile back and I had so much fun with these photos.  She was by far the most happy baby I ever have had the pleasure of photographing….it was a real struggle to get even one serious face out of her.  :-)

They are such an adorable family –  I had fun taking their pictures and playing with their kids.   It was a freezing cold day, but those boys did amazing!  Thank you guys for having me as your photographer and I hope you enjoy your preview!

Last week I got to meet up with the “S” kids for a mini-session at Lake Sacajawea here in Longview.   The kids are adorable and despite the cold they did great!

It’s been a busy month for me!  I feel terrible that my blog has been almost abandoned….I promise to catch up on things once I’m through this ordering rush though.   I had one quick shot from yesterday that I really wanted to share before I head out for appointments today.  Miss D is 9 months old already and she came into my studio yesterday for some Christmas portraits.  She is SO precious!

Angie (Mrs.H) is a wonderful friend of mine, I’m gotten to know her more closely over the last two years and I consider myself very blessed to have her as a friend.  :-)  She is an amazing inspiration of what a wife and mother should be AND she also runs a business – Miracle 1 Events.  I’ve worked with her on several events now and I am always amazed at what she is able to pull off….and on a budget too!   She recently coordinated my Mom’s 50th b-day party for me and did a WONDERFUL job.  It was seriously the most gorgeous birthday party I had ever been too and I couldn’t believe how amazing she made my Mom’s day.  I would highly recommend her for any wedding or event you might be planning…she’s wonderful to work with and I was blown away with how my “I want a fall theme” party ended up looking like. (guess I’m going to have to post some photos soon aren’t I!?)

Brian and Courtney’s wedding was an absolutely beautiful affair!  I didn’t get to meet Brian and Courtney until just a week before their wedding – they are from San Diego but had their wedding here in Vancouver.  When I pulled up to the church I was amazed, the cathedral was absolutely gorgeous.  The first thing I did was jump out of the car and take a picture of it!  Then I quickly got to work hunting down the bride and groom to get some getting ready photos before we jumped into a busy day.

From friend and fellow photographer Amanda did an amazing job helping out with the photos – we had a lot of fun together.

The day went by so fast!  From photographing Courtney getting ready to dancing photos at the reception….it was fast, and when it was all said and done I couldn’t believe the entire day was over.  Courtney and Brian – you two are an amazing couple!  It was a pleasure getting to meet you guys and be a part of your special day!  Thank you for having me as your photographer and I hope that you enjoy your preview!

The ceremony was so beautiful!

After the ceremony we met up at Esther Short Park across the street from the Hilton for some  more photos.  The weather cooperated for us, but unfortunately we were almost completely out of light by the time we started shooting.  We still managed to get some fun dramatic low-light shots before heading over to the hotel.

Of all the dancer’s Brians Mom was my favorite.   I didn’t get a chance to know her, but I’m guessing she is a fun lady.  :-)
