Last week was my precious daughter’s 4th birthday – I seriously can’t believe it!  SHE’S 4!!!!!   For her birthday she was given an adorable little Tinkerbell costume, straight from Disneyland.  My family and I got to go to Disneyworld last year, and ever since then my kids have wanted to go back (either there or to Disneyland).  Just last week at the breakfast table we were all talking about geography (I’m kind of a nerd and have giant maps next to my dining room table….geography fascinates me!) when my daughter out of nowhere says “I’m just TIRED of living here….I think our family should live in Disneyworld from now on!!!”  Yeah….they love it, but what kid doesn’t?    Being that about 3 weeks ago she decided to chop off her hair (big brother helped) I thought a Tinkerbell shoot would work out just fine for her – she’s got the pixie cut and the pixie costume and is completely obsessed with everything Disney and especially Tinkerbell so why not?

I had fun putting together this collage – I always love to show the out-takes, and being that she was born with her father’s sense of humor, there were plenty!

I photographed these kiddos in early April – they were SO adorable and well-behaved for their session.  I had so much fun talking with them and playing on the beach.   Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!

A few weeks back I got to photograph the A kids in their backyard.   They are so cute!  I so enjoyed the session, and it gave me a great chance to visit with their mommy who is a good friend of mine.  :-)  Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!

My good friend “A” moved out of state at the end of last month.  I was SO sad to see her go, but I know she’ll be back to visit soon and I’m excited to see her again.  For the last 3 years A has taken care of Miss J for her parents while they work.  Before A and her kiddos left town she asked me to do a lifestyle session with her and the kiddos at the park down the road from their home.  So we did!  You may notice that a couple of these are a little more candid than normal – slides and monkey bars and silliness…..so much fun!  We did go ahead and do a couple of the posed photos too….but the true goal with the session was to capture some memories for Miss J of all of the special times she had with A and her boys over the past 3 years.

Miss you loads A!  Can’t wait to see you and your family again!

Miss C is 3 months old – she came into my studio last week for a session – isn’t she just the cutest little thing!!?  I love getting to snuggle these sweet babies, I think I say that at just about every session I do, but it is so true.  I really love my job and this is one of the may reasons why.  :-)

Mr. N turned one this last month.  This is also the 4th session I’ve had with him and his family – belly, newborn, 6 months and now here we are at one year!    We started out outside and then finished up the session in my studio with a cake smash.  He really enjoyed his cake!  Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!!!

It’s another one of my “I can’t believe it’s already been a year!” moments.  This is the 4th time I’ve photographed this sweet family – the first time was Miss D’s mom’s belly photos, and then along came Miss D and we did her newborn photos, then Christmas photos right before Christmas and now here we are at 1 year already!  Time goes by so fast!!!!

This family was so adorable!  5 precious kids and 2 busy parents.  We started their session by photographing their latest addition Miss B in my studio.  She is two months old and just as cute as can be!

After some photos indoors we decided to take it outside and I am so glad we did!  It started snowing right before I started to shoot.   It was beautiful!

A few minutes later and the whole family joined in on the fun!
