Tinkerbell – Longview Children’s photographer

Last week was my precious daughter’s 4th birthday – I seriously can’t believe it!  SHE’S 4!!!!!   For her birthday she was given an adorable little Tinkerbell costume, straight from Disneyland.  My family and I got to go to Disneyworld last year, and ever since then my kids have wanted to go back (either there or to Disneyland).  Just last week at the breakfast table we were all talking about geography (I’m kind of a nerd and have giant maps next to my dining room table….geography fascinates me!) when my daughter out of nowhere says “I’m just TIRED of living here….I think our family should live in Disneyworld from now on!!!”  Yeah….they love it, but what kid doesn’t?   :-)  Being that about 3 weeks ago she decided to chop off her hair (big brother helped) I thought a Tinkerbell shoot would work out just fine for her – she’s got the pixie cut and the pixie costume and is completely obsessed with everything Disney and especially Tinkerbell so why not?

I had fun putting together this collage – I always love to show the out-takes, and being that she was born with her father’s sense of humor, there were plenty!

Last week I got to meet up with the “S” kids for a mini-session at Lake Sacajawea here in Longview.   The kids are adorable and despite the cold they did great!

Thank you to the S family for having me as your photographer and I hope you enjoy your preview!

The “L” Kids

I had the pleasure of meeting the “L” kids this last week for a session with just the kids in the family.  The older two are super well-behaved  twins and the youngest totally won my heart with her adorable smile and precious looks.   I know their mom through a homeschooling group that I am a part of for mom’s of young kiddos, it was fun getting to meet the kids that I’ve gotten to hear all sorts of fun stories about.  :-)  They were precious and SOOOO well-behaved.   I throughly enjoyed the session and hope that they like their photos as much as I do!

Baby “N” is growing up!

I met up with Mr. N.  this weekend for a mini-session out at Willow Grove.  I couldn’t help but post about him as he was SOOOO cute!  I photographed him as a newborn 6 months ago, and it was amazing to see how much he has grown since then.   His eyes in the first photo had me absolutely mesmerized.

Five!

Yep…that’s how old he’s going to be.  My sweet little guy is having is birthday next week and I can’t believe it!

Last week the kids and I were driving, my son saw some railroad tracks and he said “Mom…I think you should take pictures on train tracks, that would be really cool.”  I asked him if he would let me take his pictures on train tracks, he thought about it for a second and said “Sure.”   Now keep in mind this kid has HORRIBLE photographers child syndrome.  He really hates having his picture taken and gets mad at me when I pull it out to take snapshots of him and his sister, so I was really, REALLY excited to hear that he was even thinking about letting me take his picture.  Last Saturday we all headed out to some inactive tracks with a few boxcar’s parked on them to take his photos.    I was so happy with how these turned out,  it’s been quite awhile since I’ve been able to get cute shots of him since he is so uncooperative when it comes to his mom and cameras.

Isn’t he sweet?  :-)

“G” and “R” – Longview Washington Children’s photography

I had so much fun meeting these two!  They are participating in the National Charity Model Search to raise money for the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation.

They were by far some of the most fun kids I’ve had a chance to photograph, so full of personality – and in a good way! :-) Miss “G” was loving the camera, and striking poses right and left, and “R” was great at giving me that serious look that looks so great in photos, and had a great smile to boot.

A big thank you to the “J” family for having me as your photographer!
