Fun times with the “R” family – Family Photographer in Longview Washington

I met this fun family down at the lake for some family photos.  Mr “L” was absolutely adorable and full of grins and you could tell by his smiles that he totally adores his two older sisters.

I couldn’t believe how many leaves were covering the ground at the Japanese Gardens.  Just last week there was still lots of green mixed with oranges and yellows.  This time oranges, reds and yellows were everywhere!   It’s absolutely beautiful, and I’m totally looking forward to more family sessions there this weekend!

Michelle and fam – I hope you enjoy your preview and your official online gallery will be posted soon! :-)

In search of the Great Pumpkin!

It’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to post about me and my family!  You guys (meaning my awesome clients) have kept me pretty booked up for the past little bit! Thank you!  But I do miss sharing my personal side with you all, so I thought I would pull some of my more recent family snapshots out and share!  Enjoy!  :-)

Every year my family makes the treck out the the Pumpkin Farm in Willow Grove.  It seems like every year we go, it pours down rain! So we added another tradition – a shopping trip for rubber boots and umbrellas before heading out to the farm.    It’s always a big muddy mess, with animals everywhere, and pumpkins galore.  But it’s SO much fun!  My kiddos love the petting zoo out there, the hayride is great, the selection of pumpkins is amazing and the owners of this adorable farm of some of the nicest people around!

We had a blast picking out our pumpkins, and checking out the animals, but my favorite part is going back to my in-laws and having our little family harvest party.  Roasted pumpkin seeds, homemade cookies and my mother in-laws amazing homemade apple cider are what keeps us company while carve our pumpkins into some of the ugliest jack o’ lantern’s you ever saw!

My husband – Bryce, and my nephew – Declan.  Aren’t they just cute!

Thanksgiving dinner never looked better!

In search of the perfect pumpkin!

Still searching………

Issac (my other nephew) and Olivia had so much fun in the mud puddles!

If my family were pumpkins, this is what we would look like!  :)

….and this is why no one in the Lemmons family should ever consider a career in professional pumpkin carving!
