This family was great!  We met up last month in Kalama for their photo session. Our original plan had been to take photos of them on the Columbia River, but unfortunately we got to the beach and realized it was flooded from all the recent rain. (big oops on my part for not checking before the session!!!!) so we ended up moving the session over to a nearby park in Kalama.   I have to say the little girls in this session totally stole my heart – I LOVED the tutus they wore for the session, and add their sunglasses to that mix and its just too darn adorable!

I went out to the “C” family home last month for a family portrait session.  I was amazed by their GORGEOUS home on the Columbia River.  I had a blast with them….we even took some photos in their new bar which (like everything else in the home) was just beautiful!  Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!  I loved meeting you all!!

Miss K just turned one and her parents and I got to meet up for their yearly family photos.   I can’t believe how much all of these babies have changed in the last year!  Miss K is no exception.  Sitting up, giggling, getting teeth and just starting to talk…..so much changes in that first year!  I met her parents up in Toutle at the Harry Gardner park last Sunday and we were just in time to get some of the fall colors before this last weeks storms took away all of our pretty fall foliage. I was really happy with how these turned out.  Miss K was a gem!

This was my second time photographing the “K” family.  I just love their little guy, he is so full of life and always in the greatest mood!  He’s your typical busy two-year-old boy – full of mischief but SO adorable!  I really enjoyed their session, perfect weather, perfect day and perfect setting.   A big thank you to the “K” family for having me as your photographer!

A couple weeks ago at my little sister’s birthday party we finally got around to doing a family photo.   You would think with a photographer in the family we would be better at this, but in reality it’s been over two years since we’ve had one with all of us together (sad…I know!).   This is “my” side of the family – the Brennans, along with my husband, kids and I.

I met up with the “T” family about a week ago for an extended family shoot at the Grandparents home. They lived in a absolutely beautiful log home overlooking a big country valley – the setting couldn’t have been more perfect! All the grandkids were an absolute joy to photograph….would you believe all of them sat there smiling for the group photo for several minutes? Usually I get my exercise with large groups by having to chase kiddos and round up adults, but these guys were AMAZING! I’m going to go ahead and share a few of my favorites from the kids too….I didn’t have time to get them all up here as I’m still playing catch up from having my computer in the shop for most of the week (at least I got caught up on housework while it was in the shop though! )

Oh and by the way, you might notice a new watermark on these, no particular reason for that other than I’m an artist and get bored with things sometimes so I decided to try something new.  

Doesn’t she just have the most beautiful eyes?   I was seriously mesmerized when I was processing this photo…..

It was so fun meeting this adorable family.    Their two boys were absolute hams and kept the session entertaining for me to say the least.   This was the first time I had gotten to photograph them and it was really a pleasure meeting them all!  A big thank you to the “S” family for having me as your photographer.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Last year I had the opportunity to do Jared’s senior photos, this year I got a chance to photograph him with his little sister Hannah.   They  took advantage of my mini-session special that I had last Friday at Willow Grove.   It was fun getting to meet Hannah and catch up with their mom Lisa.   Thank you guys for having me as your photographer!  Enjoy your sneak peek!  :-)

This family is seriously wonderful.    Chuck  is the Pastor at our home church, Father’s House, and I have to say we absolutely love him AND his family.    God has used him and his wife Nancy to help my husband and I through some tough times and we are truly blessed and thankful to have such wonderful pastors.   I met up with the family last Monday out at Willow Grove to do a family session.  I really enjoyed spending a few quick hours with them and I’m hoping they enjoy their photos too!

Mrs.  K is a good friend of mine AND a fellow photographer here in Longview.  I was thrilled to be asked to do her family session this last week.   Being a photographer herself she is very familiar with how to pick good clothing for portraits and her family was no exception!  I absolutely love the color combinations she came up with for her family.   They all were so bright and cheerful and their outfits went along great with the bright colors in downtown Longview.  

We had a blast on the session, there are all sorts of fun spots to do family photos down there.    Her kids were adorable, and though they did have  a slight case of photographers child syndrome (children that run and hide when cameras are pulled out!) they warmed up to me as we got going and I ended up getting some very cute expressions from them.
