Life!

This is a deeply personal blog post for me – I’ve been trying for weeks to figure out how to do this and do this gracefully and professionally, and I think I’ve finally figured it out! So here goes….bear with me!

A few months ago (July) I found out that we are going to be blessed with our third child. In the weeks following, my personal life was completely turned upside-down by things out of my control and my kids and I were left reeling. The short of the matter is, I will be closing my downtown location and keeping my business closer to home. This is the best for my family and business right now and I know you will understand!

I have had a ton of support from my friends and family in this time, and thanks to them and the Lord, we are doing incredibly well emotionally. My children blow me away with how joyful they are being, despite all the drastic changes in their day-to-day routine. I’ve also had a surprisingly easy pregnancy (once I got past that first trimester!). This baby is such a blessing! I cannot wait to hold him in my arms and kiss his sweet face. He is a miracle….a blessing….a precious gift…and his timing for coming into the world is God-ordained!

While my personal life may be going through changes a few things have remained constant in my life – 1. God.  My faith in Him is growing stronger and stronger every day and I’m amazed at how faithful He is to those who trust in Him.  2. My business.  Just because I’m going through a transition doesn’t mean I don’t love my job or my customers any less!  I will still be offering the same exact service’s and products just from a different location.  In fact, when I worked from home in years prior my turnaround time was actually faster!   3. My kids.  They are my joy! My love! And my precious blessings that I get to wake up too every morning!

So with that all said it’s time for me to share some family photos taken by my dear friend Cindy.  She has been a major support to me throughout the past few months and I am blessed to call her my friend.   Thank you so much Cindy!  Love you bunches!

A Kalama family session – Longview area photography

This family was great!  We met up last month in Kalama for their photo session. Our original plan had been to take photos of them on the Columbia River, but unfortunately we got to the beach and realized it was flooded from all the recent rain. (big oops on my part for not checking before the session!!!!) so we ended up moving the session over to a nearby park in Kalama.   I have to say the little girls in this session totally stole my heart – I LOVED the tutus they wore for the session, and add their sunglasses to that mix and its just too darn adorable! :-)

Thank you for having me as your photographer guys!

The “T” Family – Longview Family Photography

This family is seriously wonderful.    Chuck  is the Pastor at our home church, Father’s House, and I have to say we absolutely love him AND his family.    God has used him and his wife Nancy to help my husband and I through some tough times and we are truly blessed and thankful to have such wonderful pastors.   I met up with the family last Monday out at Willow Grove to do a family session.  I really enjoyed spending a few quick hours with them and I’m hoping they enjoy their photos too!

Thank you to the “T” family for having me as your photographer!
