I can’t believe this precious little gal is already one! We had her one year “cake smash” session at my studio awhile back and I had so much fun with these photos. She was by far the most happy baby I ever have had the pleasure of photographing….it was a real struggle to get even one serious face out of her. :-)

Keela 2010 – Longview WA Senior photographer
Keela is an absolute sweetheart – she goes to the youth group at our church and I’ve learned that she is just as beautiful of a girl inside as she is on the outside. She had some really great ideas for her senior photos and I have to say I am SOOOOO happy with how they turned out. My favorite senior sessions are usually the ones where the seniors come up with a few of their own ideas – not that I can’t come up with ideas, but my ideas don’t always mesh with who “you” are as a senior. Bringing your personality to a session is KEY in expressing who you are through your photos. I loved that Keela wanted shots on the beach with an antique chair and with her car. My favorite one is the last one of this set…I had way to much fun processing it. :-)
Thank you again Keela! I had a blast with you! :-)
The Social Media Revolution….
I have a confession to make.
I’m a geek.
I twitter and facebook all the time, I have a myspace, two blogs, 8 e-mail addresses, and a flickr account. I’m on digg, linkdin, hulu, and prop. You can google me and find out all sorts of crazy things….well……not to crazy, but you can certainly find me and probably a few funny photos if you search hard enough. I’m on lots of forums, and some of my closest friends I met online. I love social networking and how it has helped my business, but until I saw this video I thought of myself as a bit of a nerd…..it’s only us twenty-somethings and teens that use facebook right? Not anymore……
I thought this was a fascinating clip and wanted to share it with you – fan my facebook page and follow me on twitter if you want to get in on some of my upcoming specials!
The McMullen’s…..
Meet Mr. and Mrs. McMullen, two of my all time favorite clients! You might remember them for their e-session post about 6 months ago where they totally won my heart by bringing me chocolate. (It was good chocolate too!). On Saturday these two sealed the deal and became Mr and Mrs. Ian and Tricia McMullen. I throughly enjoyed my day with them and they had an absolutely gorgeous outdoor wedding in the Longview Civic Circle and then finished up their day with a rocking reception at the Monticello Hotel.
One of my favorite parts of the day was where Ian surprised Tricia with her ring – he had it upgraded and waited until the wedding day to show her. Her reaction was PRICELESS…….
Nate captured an awesome ring photo yet again!
