A couple weeks ago these guys came into my studio for their newborn session.  I was so excited to meet them – I used to go to church with mom and dad, but they moved a few hours away and I don’t get to see them too often.    They are fraternal boy/girl twins and SO PRECIOUS!   We had some difficultly getting them to sleep during the session so I didn’t walk away with as many photos as I would have liked, but what I did get I am super happy with.  They were just adorable!  Mom, Dad and brother didn’t make an appearance in the session but you might notice the family resemblance from this post.

These first two I couldn’t help but process with a vintage twist – so precious!

These guys were fresh….just barely a week old, and SO precious!  I absolutely love photographing newborns….and twins are twice as much fun.

Miss. L was absolutely perfect!  Just 9 days old, and so gorgeous.   She was a gem for her session, slept amazingly and let me pose her no problem at all.  I so enjoy newborn sessions….there is just nothing as sweet as snuggling these precious little babies.  :-)

I think they made one cute little boy.   Jeff and Melissa had their baby last week.  He’s perfect.   His name is Jaxson, or “Jax” for short.   It was fun hanging out with them and my good friend Maggie during the  session.  Jax did a great job sleeping for us.  It was hard to let him sleep and not just cuddle him….he was just too cute!  :-)

Mr. K is one week old today!  I met up with him and his mom for a newborn session this morning.  He did so awesome the whole time -  Great little sleeper and just so precious!   Newborn sessions are always my favorites.  I joke around that getting my baby fix with all these newborns is what keeps me from having another one right away.

Miss Esther was the baby I was photographing when photographer Bill Wagner photographed me for the Daily News article and I thought I would share with you a few of my favorites from the session with her.   She was such a peaceful little one throughout the whole session and did amazing despite me being incredibly nervous about having someone taking pictures of me!  (and yes, I get nervous too…..there is a reason I’m always the one BEHIND the camera!) 

I met up with the “H” family at the lake here in Longview for a children’s session with their 3 kiddos and then finished up with a newborn session  for new baby “M” back at their home.    All 3 of the kids did amazing for their session, I had so much fun meeting all of them – especially Miss “B”,  she had such a fun outgoing personality and was just a joy to photograph. 

Congratulations to the “H” family on their new addition to the family and thank you for having me as your photographer! 

Miss “A” arrived shortly before Christmas.  I had the pleasure of meeting her and her lovely family yesterday for some newborn/1month photos.   She was a little cuddle bug, and not to thrilled about having to lay by herself for photos.  But once we turned up the heat, she got comfortable and fell into that deep sleep that’s just perfect for those precious, sleepy newborn photos.

Baby “N” was recently welcomed into the world by his loving family.   You might remember his parents from their winter maternity session here. I’m always so excited to meet newborns after doing maternity sessions with their families.   It’s so much fun to see who they look like and what their little personalities are.  This little guy was very peaceful and so cuddly.    I love newborn photography so much – I’ve probably mentioned it before, but it really is my favorite type of session despite the fact that they are typically my longest sessions (3 hours is the norm).  They are just so precious and it’s so rewarding when you get “the shot”…..I just love it. 

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. A on your precious little guy and lots of blessing to you all as you begin this new chapter in your lives!

I had the pleasure of photographing this absolutely adorable newborn baby girl.  Miss ‘K’ was nearly 3 weeks old at the time of her session and was an absolute angel the entire time I was photographing her.  I barely heard more than a grunt out of her until the very end of her session – she did AMAZING!
