August 14th – Casey and Monica’s wedding

When Casey and Monica came to me last year to book their wedding I thought they were so cute – and so was their little boy!   He was SUCH a charmer, I totally fell in love with him!  C & M had a themed wedding, and it was new theme for me – Camoflauge!  Both of them are avid bow hunters, and so of course it made perfect sense to incorporate that into their wedding.  I had a lot of fun coming up with creative ways to incorporate the bows and rifles into the photos – the group photos were a blast!

Thank you Casey and Monica!  Lots of blessings to you guys in your new life together!

John and Ingrid – Portland Oregon wedding photography

John and Ingrid were such a beautiful couple!  They were married in a lovely rustic lodge in Grey’s Harbor Washington right on the river.   Their wedding was full of little touches of sentiment that made the day all the more special!  From a song that her brother wrote to sing for them during the ceremony, to the heartfelt vows that they wrote for each other, to all the whimsical details surrounding them…..it was beautiful!!!   I enjoyed spending the day with both of them, and especially appreciate Nate being willing to assist me with shooting during the day (and driving….I dislike driving….and his car is WAY cooler than mine!) ;-)   Thank you John and Ingrid for having us be a part of your special day, and best wishes to you both in your new life together!!!

DeWayne + Melissa = Married, Vancouver Wa. Wedding Photographer

Last Friday  DeWayne and Melissa got married at the Grant House in Vancouver Washington.   This was the first wedding I had photographed at that location and I have to say I fell in love with it.  The old house is absolutely beautiful and the grounds around it were perfectly photogenic.    Having a beautiful couple to work with just made my job way to easy!  ;-)  Their love for each was so fun to capture on film,  I truly enjoyed every minute of their day.   The wedding party was a fun-loving group to work with, and I enjoyed getting to do some fun group shots with them as well.    My assistant Nate did a fabulous job (as always!!!) helping me with their day.   He captured the ring photo below and I think he did an excellent job! (have I mentioned that his day job is photographing jewelry?  Yeah…..he’s pretty good at it.)

Thank you DeWayne and Melissa for having me be a part of your special day!   May God richly bless you in the  years to come!
